2015/2016 Season Info

Hello everyone,

Here we are at the start of a new season!

This year we have 23 teams, having lost Roefield but gained Edenfield, BCSC/ St.Bedes and Hit & Miss B.

Clitheroe have moved from Oakhill to Roefield Leisure Centre,Edenfield play at Haslingden Sports Centre,Hit &Miss have mov ed from Oakhill to Norden School on a Monday, finally, BCSC/St.Bedes are playing at QEGS Sports Hall, Lammack, Tuesday 7:30p.m. start.

Every thing else is the same as last year, remember I’m on the end of the phone if you need me.

Player registrations are due back September 20th when score sheets & hand books will be here waiting for you.

Badminton England & Lancashire Fees

For the 2015/2016 season Lancashire county fees will be £3 per player and Badminton England fees will be £15 per adult and £5 per junior.

The 2015 AGM is being held on Tueasday 16th June, 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start at East Lancs Cricket Club, Blackburn.

The secretary will be sending each club the relevant information at the beginning of June.

John Culshaw Tournament

The John Culshaw Charity Tournament will be on 3rd May from 10am at Hyndburn Sports Centre, Accrington.

Teams consist of 2 men and 2 ladies and the tournament is handicapped giving everyone who enters a chance of winning. It will be played in groups, so you will get lots of games throughout the day. The cost to enter is £30 per team. To enter the tournament, please email me no later than 26th April with the following details:

Please feel free to pass the information to anyone who may be interested in entering a team. The tournament is available to all social and league players.
