Blackburn 1st Town Team played their 1st match of the inter league season against Liverpool 1 away. This was Blackburn’s first game back in the top division.

The team won emphatically with the side only losing 1 ladies doubles, taking the match 14 1.

The team was Ashley Gibson, Nick Hodgson, Abdul Malik, Syed Masood, Keith Ashton, Julie Bates, Cheryl Parry (all Hit & Miss) and Joanna Holt and Claire Edmundson ( both from Blackburn Seniors).
